Midnight Smack

Raul Rios

Tired of not being able to find a restaurant that serves late at night,  especially after a few six packs cause your hunger to stack up? This late night breakfast sandwich will help you defeat the hunger and most importantly the hangover of doom. The best part is you should not even have to leave your house for anything, and it takes about 10 minutes! Everything you will need for this tasty recipe are common household groceries and equipment. Let’s get the show on the road!

EQUIPMENT:

Skillet
Spatula
Knife
Tongs
Towel
Plates
Butter knife
Toaster
Cutting Board
Can opener

Ingredients: Servings for 1 Person

2 Slices of your bread of choice
1 Tbsp Mayo
1 Egg
Lettuce (1 layer)
1 Tomato
1 Onion (White or Yellow)
3 Slices of Bacon (I use honey smoked bacon)
1/4 cup of Tuna
4 Slices Swiss Cheese

  1. Rinse and slice tomato, onion, and lettuce while your skillet is heating on the stove on medium heat.
  2. Cook bacon on the skillet until crispy, and reuse the fat from the bacon to fry your egg.
  3. Prepare the tuna by draining the liquid from the can and place to the side
  4. Finish your preparations by toasting your bread slices, and begin assembling your sandwich.
  5. Start by adding 1/4 mayo on one side of each slice of bread then add your tomato, onion, then lettuce.
  6. On top of your veggies, layer your fried egg, two slices of swiss cheese, and three slices of bacon.
  7. Finish off with two more thin slices of swiss cheese and your last piece of mayo bread.
  8. Cut in half diagonally and stick tooth pics at the center of each to present. Enjoy!
