Macaroni and Cheese Casserole

You look in your cabinet and you see some mac and cheese, and you probably think to yourself, Welp, that’s boring I have nothing good to eat.” You should think again you need a casserole in your life. This recipe adds more of a twist to your classic dairy delight.

Prep time: 5 Minutes

Cook time: 30 minutes

1 mac and cheese box:

2 cups of pasta

½ cup of cheese sauce powder

6 cups of water

¼ cups of butter and maybe a little extra for rubbing a pan

¼ cup milk

½ cup of bread crumbs

1 egg

1 cup of Fiesta blend shredded cheese

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Follow the instructions on the box for the macaroni.
  3. After you finish rub an 8” square pan in butter, pour in the macaroni.
  4. In a separate bowl, add breadcrumbs and the fiesta blend.
  5. In another bowl, beat the egg until smooth.
  6. Pour the breadcrumbs mixture over the top of the macaroni
  7. Brush the eggs on the top of the casserole
  8. Place in the oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. After you pull it out, you should let it cool it off for 5 minutes or you might burn your mouth. And enjoy, assuming you allowed it to cool down.
